Rabbit anti-TIPIN Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-473A-T maps to a region between residue 125 and 175 of human TIMELESS interacting protein using the numbering given in entry NP_060328.1 (GeneID 54962).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TIPIN immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
Timeless-interacting protein (TIPIN) was originally isolated as a protein that interacts with timeless, a factor that plays a role in circadian rhythm and cell cycle checkpoint regulation. The TIM-TIPIN complex has been shown to coordinate the intra-S-phase checkpoint in response to UV-induced DNA damage. TIPIN is required for cell cycle arrest in response to DNA damage. It also interacts with RPA (replication protein A) on DNA and is able to slow down DNA chain elongation in response to UV-damage.
Alternate Names
CSM3 homolog; TIMELESS-interacting protein
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
