Rabbit anti-TORC2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-637A-T maps to a region between residues 300 and 350 of human Transducer of Regulated cAMP Responsive Element-Binding Protein (CREB) 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_859066.1 (GeneID 200186).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TORC2 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
TORC2 (transducer of regulated CREB activity 2) is part of a family of CREB (cAMP response element-binding protein) coactivators that also includes TORC1 and TORC3. These proteins function to activate CREB-dependent transcription in response to cAMP and calcium signaling pathways. TORC2 has been found to be pivotal to the process of gluconeogenesis.
Alternate Names
CREB-regulated transcription coactivator 2; TORC2; TORC-2; Transducer of CREB protein 2; transducer of regulated cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB) 2; Transducer of regulated cAMP response element-binding protein 2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
