Rabbit anti-TR2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-047A maps to a region between residue 553 and 603 of human Testicular Receptor 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_003288.2 (GeneID 7181).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TR2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-047A-T maps to a region between residue 553 and 603 of human Testicular Receptor 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_003288.2 (GeneID 7181).
Additional Product Information
TR2 is an orphan nuclear hormone receptor characterized by a highly conserved DNA binding domain (DBD), a variable hinge region, and a carboxy-terminal ligand binding domain (LBD) that is typical for all members of the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily. This protein also belongs to a large family of ligand-inducible transcription factors that regulate gene expression by binding to specific DNA sequences within promoters of target genes [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 7181].
Alternate Names
nuclear receptor subfamily 2 group C member 1; nuclear receptor subfamily 2, group C isoform; orphan nuclear receptor TR2; Testicular receptor 2; TR2; TR2 nuclear hormone receptor
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
