Rabbit anti-TRIM25 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-858A maps to a region between residue 375 and 425 of human tripartite motif-containing 25 using the numbering given in entry NP_005073.2 (GeneID 7706).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TRIM25 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-858A-T maps to a region between residue 375 and 425 of human tripartite motif-containing 25 using the numbering given in entry NP_005073.2 (GeneID 7706).
Additional Product Information
TRIM (tripartite motif) proteins, also known as RBCC (RING, B-box, coiled-coil) proteins, are defined by the presence of a tripartite structural motif composed of a RING domain, one or two B-box motifs, and a coiled-coil region. TRIM proteins have been found to be involved in a variety of cellular processes such as apoptosis, proliferation, differentiation, and innate immunity. Of these processes, the most intriguing is their involvement in the innate immune response. TRIM25 has been demonstrated to mediate ubiquitination of the cytosolic receptor retinoic acid-inducible gene-I (RIG-I) in response to viral infection.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
