Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00018 maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_003461.1 (GeneID 7874). Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to USP7 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00018-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human Ubiquitin Specific Peptidase 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_003461.1 (GeneID 7874).
Additional Product Information
Ubiquitin (Ub) is a highly conserved protein found ubiquitously in eukaryotic organisms. The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Removal of Ub can rescue proteins from degradation. This is accomplished by the ubiquitin-specific processing protease (UBP) family of enzymes. Ubiquitin specific processing protease 7 (USP7) is a member of this family that has been shown to interact and stabilize p53.
Alternate Names
deubiquitinating enzyme 7; HAUSP; Herpes virus-associated ubiquitin-specific protease; Herpesvirus-associated ubiquitin-specific protease; TEF1; ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 7; ubiquitin specific peptidase 7 (herpes virus-associated); ubiquitin specific protease 7 (herpes virus-associated); ubiquitin thioesterase 7; ubiquitin-specific-processing protease 7; USP7
Applications
Epitope exposure is not recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will hinder staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
