Rabbit anti-WAPL Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-268A maps to a region between residues 1125 and 1175 of human wings apart like/KIAA0261 using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q7Z5K2 (GeneID 23063).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to WAPL immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-268A-T maps to a region between residues 1125 and 1175 of human wings apart like/KIAA0261 using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q7Z5K2 (GeneID 23063).
Additional Product Information
Wings apart-like protein homolog (WAPL) is a cohesin binding protein that functions to destabilize cohesin-linked sister chromatids during prophase. Human WAPL has been shown to be highly expressed in cervical cancer and when over-expressed in mouse cells, induces tumorigenesis. WAPL was isolated in a screen for proteins that interact with Epstein-Barr nuclear protein 2 (EBNA2).
Alternate Names
FOE; friend of EBNA2 (Epstein-Barr virus nuclear protein 2); friend of EBNA2 protein; KIAA0261; WAPAL; WAPL cohesin release factor; wings apart-like protein homolog
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
