Rabbit anti-WDR62 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-559A-T maps to a region between residue 750 and 800 of human WD repeat domain 62 using the numbering given in entry NP_775907.4 (GeneID 284403).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to WDR62 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
WDR62 (WD repeat-containing 62) contains 15 WD repeats and is a member of the WD family of proteins. The WD repeat is defined by four or more repeating units of a conserved core of approximately 40 amino acids ending with tryptophan-aspartic acid (WD). WD repeats may serve as sites of protein-protein interaction for adaptor proteins and facilitate multiprotein complex formation. WD proteins are involved in a variety of cellular processes. WDR62 has been identified in a phosphoproteome analysis as a protein associated with the mitotic spindle; however its function has not been characterized.
Alternate Names
C19orf14; MCPH2; microcephaly, primary autosomal recessive 2; truncated WDR62; WD repeat-containing protein 62
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
