Rabbit anti-ZBTB7/FBI-1 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00444 maps to a region between residue 525 and the C-terminus (residue 584) of human ZBTB7 (Factor Binding IST protein 1) using the numbering given in entry NP_056982.1 (GeneID 51341).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZBTB7/FBI-1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00444-T maps to a region between residue 525 and the C-terminus (residue 584) of human ZBTB7 (Factor Binding IST protein 1) using the numbering given in entry NP_056982.1 (GeneID 51341).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Zinc-finger and BTB domain-containing protein 7A (ZBTB7A) binds IST (inducer of short transcript) DNA elements in the HIV promoter to facilitate short transcript synthesis. ZBTB7A identified as LRF also interacts with the LAZ-3/BCL-6 oncoprotein. Because ZBTB7A also contains a POZ domain it may serve a function in chromatin remodeling.
Alternate Names
factor binding IST protein 1; factor that binds to inducer of short transcripts protein 1; FBI1; FBI-1; HIV-1 1st-binding protein 1; HIV-1 inducer of short transcripts binding protein; leukemia/lymphoma-related factor; LRF; lymphoma related factor; POK erythroid myeloid ontogenic factor; pokemon; Pokemon 1; POZ and Krueppel erythroid myeloid ontogenic factor; TIP21; TTF-I-interacting peptide 21; ZBTB7; zinc finger and BTB domain containing 7A, HIV-1 inducer of short transcripts binding protein; zinc finger and BTB domain-containing protein 7A; zinc finger protein 857A; ZNF857A
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
