Rabbit anti-ZIPK Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-221A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Zipper-Interacting Protein Kinase using the numbering given in entry NP_001339.1 (GeneID 1613).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZIPK immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-221A-T maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Zipper-Interacting Protein Kinase using the numbering given in entry NP_001339.1 (GeneID 1613).
Additional Product Information
Zipper-interacting protein kinase (ZIPK) is a serine/threonine kinase which is involved in the regulation of apoptosis, autophagy, transcription, translation, actin cytoskeleton reorganization, cell motility, smooth muscle contraction, and mitosis, particularly cytokinesis. ZIPK regulates both type I apoptotic and type II autophagic cell deaths signal, depending on the cellular setting [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/O43293].
Alternate Names
DAP kinase 3; DAP-like kinase; death-associated protein kinase 3; DLK; MYPT1 kinase; ZIP; ZIPK; ZIP-kinase; zipper-interacting protein kinase
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
