Rabbit anti-ZNF198 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-711A maps to a region between residue 1327 and 1377 of human zinc finger protein 198 using the numbering given in entry NP_003444.1 (GeneID 7750).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZNF198 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-711A-T maps to a region between residue 1327 and 1377 of human zinc finger protein 198 using the numbering given in entry NP_003444.1 (GeneID 7750).
Additional Product Information
ZNF198 contains nine MYM-type zinc fingers. The N-terminal half of the ZNF198 gene has been identified as a gene fused to the cytoplasmic domain of the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR1) gene as a result of a t(8;13) (p11;q11-12) chromosomal rearrangement. The t(8;13) chromosomal translocation is associated with myeloproliferative diseases such as stem cell leukemia lymphoma syndrome (SCLL). Studies of the normal function of ZNF198 have revealed that it associates with HHR6 and RAD18 and may be involved in the repair of DNA. ZNF198 has also been found to associate with the BHC110 subunit of a histone-deacetylase containing corepressor complex and may have an additional function in transcriptional repression.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
