Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZNF265/ZIS immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-029A maps to a region between residue 100 and 150 of human zinc-finger protein 265 (zinc-finger, splicing) using the numbering given in entry NP_005446.2 (GeneID 9406).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZNF265/ZIS immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A301-029A-T maps to a region between residue 100 and 150 of human zinc-finger protein 265 (zinc-finger, splicing) using the numbering given in entry NP_005446.2 (GeneID 9406).

Additional Product Information

ZNF265 is an SR (serine/arginine-rich) domain containing zinc-finger protein and a component of the splicesome. ZNF265 interacts with U1-70K and U2AF35 and functions in directing alternative splicing.

Alternate Names

zinc finger protein 265; zinc finger Ran-binding domain-containing protein 2; zinc finger, RAN-binding domain containing 2; Zinc finger, splicing; zinc-finger, splicing; ZIS; ZIS1; ZIS2; ZNF265

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
