Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZNF318/TZF immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00312 maps to a region between residue 2049 and 2099 of human zinc finger protein 318 (testicular zinc finger) using the numbering given in entry AAD17298.1 (GeneID 24149).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

ZNF318/TZF is a Cys2-His2 type zinc-finger protein that has been found to function as a corepressor of the androgen receptor (AR). Co-repression by TZF is accomplished via the recruitment of histone deacetylase 2 to agonist-bound AR and the impairment of intranuclear foci formation by agonist-bound AR.

Alternate Names

endocrine regulator; endocrine regulatory protein; HRIHFB2436; testicular zinc finger; TZF; ZFP318; zinc finger protein 318

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
