Rabbit anti-HNRNPQ/R Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-900A maps to a region between residue 573 and 623 of human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Q (hnRNP Q) (hnRNP-Q) (Synaptotagmin-binding, cytoplasmic RNA-interacting protein) (Glycine- and tyrosine-rich RNA-binding protein) (GRY-RBP) (NS1-associated protein 1) using the numbering given in entry O60506 (GeneID 10492).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to HNRNPQ/R immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-900A-T maps to a region between residue 573 and 623 of human Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein Q (hnRNP Q) (hnRNP-Q) (Synaptotagmin-binding, cytoplasmic RNA-interacting protein) (Glycine- and tyrosine-rich RNA-binding protein) (GRY-RBP) (NS1-associated protein 1) using the numbering given in entry O60506 (GeneID 10492).

Additional Product Information
This protein is a member of the cellular heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) family, which are RNA binding proteins that complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) and regulate alternative splicing, polyadenylation, and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. The encoded protein plays a role in multiple aspects of mRNA maturation and is associated with several multiprotein complexes including the apoB RNA editing-complex and survival of motor neurons (SMN) complex. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2011] [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10492)].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
