Rabbit anti-PSMB7 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-848A maps to a region between residue 150 and 200 of human Proteasome (Prosome, Macropain) Subunit, Beta Type, 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_002790.1 (GeneID 5695).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PSMB7 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-848A-T maps to a region between residue 150 and 200 of human Proteasome (Prosome, Macropain) Subunit, Beta Type, 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_002790.1 (GeneID 5695).
Additional Product Information
PSMB7 [proteasome (prosome, macropain) subunit, beta type,7] is a member of the proteasome B-type family, also known as the T1B family, and is a 20S core beta subunit in the proteasome. The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered ring-shaped 20S core structure. The core structure is composed of 4 rings of 28 non-identical subunits; 2 rings are composed of 7 alpha subunits and 2 rings are composed of 7 beta subunits. Proteasomes are distributed throughout eukaryotic cells at a high concentration and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent process in a non-lysosomal pathway. Expression of this catalytic subunit is downregulated by gamma interferon, and proteolytic processing is required to generate a mature subunit [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5695)].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
