Rabbit anti-SFRS2IP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-007A maps to a region between residue 1098 and the C-terminus (residue 1148) of human splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 2, interacting protein using the numbering given in entry CAA72121.1 (GeneID 9169).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SFRS2IP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-007A-T maps to a region between residue 1098 and the C-terminus (residue 1148) of human splicing factor, arginine/serine-rich 2, interacting protein using the numbering given in entry CAA72121.1 (GeneID 9169).
Additional Product Information
SFRS2IP was identified as factor that interacts with SC35, an SR family member critical to mRNA splicing. SFRS2IP contains an arginine-serine-rich (RS) domain and lacks any known RNA-binding motifs. SFRS2IP may have an important role in splicesome assembly since it has been demonstrated to interact with several proteins involved in the early steps of splicesome assembly and the finding that splicesomal complexes A and B are not formed in SFRS2IP depleted extracts.

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
