Rabbit anti-DHX33 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-800A maps to a region between residue 650 and the C-terminus (residue 707) of human DEAH (Asp-Glu-Ala-His) Box Polypeptide 33 using the numbering given in entry NP_064547.2 (GeneID 56919).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DHX33 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-800A-T maps to a region between residue 650 and the C-terminus (residue 707) of human DEAH (Asp-Glu-Ala-His) Box Polypeptide 33 using the numbering given in entry NP_064547.2 (GeneID 56919).
Additional Product Information
DHX33 is a member of the DEAH box family of proteins that possesses several conserved motifs which include the highly conserved DEAH (Asp-Glu-Ala-His) amino acid sequence motif. The major activity of DEAH box proteins is to function as ATP-dependent RNA helicases. RNA helicases play an important role in all aspects of RNA metabolism and function which include pre-mRNA splicing, RNA synthesis, RNA degradation, RNA export, RNA translation, RNA secondary structure formation, ribosome biogenesis, and the assembly of RNP complexes. The specific function of DHX33 has not been determined.
Alternate Names
ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX33; DDX33; DEAD/H (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp/His) box polypeptide 33; DEAH (Asp-Glu-Ala-His) box polypeptide 33; DEAH box protein 33; putative ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX33
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
