Rabbit anti-DDX50 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-312A maps to a region between residue 687 and 737 of human DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 50 using the numbering given in entry NP_076950.1 (GeneID 79009).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DDX50 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-312A-T maps to a region between residue 687 and 737 of human DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 50 using the numbering given in entry NP_076950.1 (GeneID 79009).
Additional Product Information
DDX50 is a member of the DEAD box family of proteins that possesses several conserved motifs which include the highly conserved DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) amino acid sequence motif. The major activity of DEAD box proteins is to function as ATP-dependent RNA helicases. As helicases, DEAD proteins play an important role in all aspects of RNA metabolism and function which include pre-mRNA splicing, RNA synthesis, RNA degradation, RNA export, RNA translation, RNA secondary structure formation, ribosome biogenesis, and the assembly of RNP complexes. DDX51 is a paralog of DDX21.
Alternate Names
ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX50; DEAD (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp) box polypeptide 50; DEAD box protein 50; DEAD-box helicase 50; GU2; GUB; gu-beta; malignant cell derived RNA helicase; mcdrh; nucleolar protein GU2; RH-II/GuB; RNA helicase II/Gu beta
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
