Rabbit anti-G3BP2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-040A maps to a region between residue 275 and 325 of human GTPase activating protein (SH3 domain) binding protein 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_036429.2 (GeneID 9908).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to G3BP2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-040A-T maps to a region between residue 275 and 325 of human GTPase activating protein (SH3 domain) binding protein 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_036429.2 (GeneID 9908).
Additional Product Information
Ras-GAP SH3 domain binding protein (G3BP2) contains an RNA recognition motif (RRM) and an N-terminal nuclear transport factor 2-like (NTF2-like) domain. The G3BP family of proteins have been shown to function downstream of Ras and play a role in RNA metabolism, signal transduction, and proliferation.G3BP2 can interact with IkappaBalpha and IkappaBalpha/NFkappaB complexes. In this complex G3B2 is proposed to play a role in regulating the nucleocytoplasmic localization of NFkappaB as well as its activity.
Alternate Names
G3BP-2; GAP SH3 domain-binding protein 2; GTPase activating protein (SH3 domain) binding protein 2; ras GTPase-activating protein-binding protein 2; Ras-GTPase activating protein SH3 domain-binding protein 2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
