Rabbit anti-PUF60 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-817A maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human Poly-U Binding Splicing Factor 60KDa using the numbering given in entry NP_510965.1 (GeneID 22827).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to PUF60 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-817A-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human Poly-U Binding Splicing Factor 60KDa using the numbering given in entry NP_510965.1 (GeneID 22827).
Additional Product Information
Poly-U binding splicing factor 60KDa (PUF60) is a Ro RNP-binding protein. It interacts with Ro RNPs and their interaction is thought to represent a gain of function for Ro RNPs. This protein also forms a ternary complex with far upstream element (FUSE) and FUSE-binding protein. It can repress a c-myc reporter via the FUSE. It is also known to target transcription factor IIH and inhibit activated transcription. PUF60 is implicated in the xeroderma pigmentosum disorder [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 22827)].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
