Rabbit anti-p49/STRAP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-044A maps to a region between residue 379 and 429 of human SRF-Dependent Transcription Regulation-Associated Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_689759.2 (GeneID 153443).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to p49/STRAP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-044A-T maps to a region between residue 379 and 429 of human SRF-Dependent Transcription Regulation-Associated Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_689759.2 (GeneID 153443).
Additional Product Information
p49/STRAP interacts with serum response factor (SRF) and is also known as serum response factor-binding protein 1 and SRF-dependent transcription regulation-associated protein. p49/STRAP may be involved in regulating transcriptional activation of cardiac genes during the aging process, and may play a role in biosynthesis and/or processing of SLC2A4 in adipose cells.
Alternate Names
BUD22; BUD22 homolog; P49; p49/STRAP; Rlb1; serum response factor-binding protein 1; SRF-dependent transcription regulation-associated protein; STRAP
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
