Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CIP29 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-209A-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human Cytokine-Induced Protein of 29 kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_149073.1 (GeneID 84324).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

Cytokine induced protein of 29 kDa (CIP29) is a protein that is upregulated in response to various cytokines. CIP29 may play a role in cell cycle progression. A translocation between the CIP29 gene and the myeloid/lymphoid leukemia gene, results in the expression of a chimeric protein and has been associated with acute myelomonocytic leukemia [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 84324)].

Alternate Names

CIP29; cytokine induced protein 29 kDa; cytokine-induced protein of 29 kDa; HCC1; hepatocellular carcinoma 1; HSPC316; nuclear protein Hcc-1; proliferation associated cytokine-inducible protein CIP29; Proliferation-associated cytokine-inducible protein CIP29; SAP domain-containing ribonucleoprotein; THO1

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
