Rabbit anti-CDK9 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-493A maps to a region between residue 322 and 372 of human Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 9 using the numbering given in entry NP_001252.1 (GeneID 1025).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CDK9 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-493A-T maps to a region between residue 322 and 372 of human Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 9 using the numbering given in entry NP_001252.1 (GeneID 1025).
Additional Product Information
Cyclin-dependent kinase 9 (CDK9) is a member of the CDK family of kinases and a component of the multiprotein complex TAK/P-TEFb, which is an elongation factor for RNA polymerase II-directed transcription and functions by phosphorylating the C-terminal domain of the largest subunit of RNA polymerase II. CDK9 forms a complex with and is regulated by its regulatory subunit cyclin T or cyclin K.
Alternate Names
C-2k; CDC2L4; CDC2-related kinase; cell division cycle 2-like protein kinase 4; cell division protein kinase 9; CTK1; cyclin-dependent kinase 9; PITALRE; serine/threonine protein kinase PITALRE; Serine/threonine-protein kinase PITALRE; TAK; tat-associated kinase complex catalytic subunit
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
