Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to RPS9 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-946A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Ribosomal Protein S9 using the numbering given in entry NP_001004.2 (GeneID 6203).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

40S ribosomal protein S9 (RPS9) is a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit. RPS9 belongs to the S4P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Variable expression of this gene in colorectal cancers compared to adjacent normal tissues has been observed, although no correlation between the level of expression and the severity of the disease has been found.

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
