Rabbit anti-EDF-1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-039A maps to a region between residue 98 to 148 of human Endothelial Differentiation-Related Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_003783.1 (GeneID 8721).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to EDF-1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-039A-T maps to a region between residue 98 to 148 of human Endothelial Differentiation-Related Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_003783.1 (GeneID 8721).
Additional Product Information
Endothelial differentiation-related factor 1 (EDF-1) is a protein that may regulate endothelial cell differentiation. It has been postulated that the protein functions as a bridging molecule that interconnects regulatory proteins and the basal transcriptional machinery, thereby modulating the transcription of genes involved in endothelial differentiation. EDF-1 has also been found to act as a transcriptional co-activator by interconnecting the general transcription factor TATA element-binding protein (TBP) and gene-specific activators [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 8721)].
Alternate Names
CFAP280; EDF-1; endothelial differentiation-related factor 1; MBF1; multiprotein bridging factor 1; Multiprotein-bridging factor 1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
