Rabbit anti-Valyl-tRNA Synthetase/VARS Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-776A maps to a region between residue 1214 to 1264 of human Valyl-tRNA synthetase using the numbering given in entry P26640.4 (GeneID 7407).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Valyl-tRNA Synthetase/VARS immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-776A-T maps to a region between residue 1214 to 1264 of human Valyl-tRNA synthetase using the numbering given in entry P26640.4 (GeneID 7407).
Additional Product Information
Valyl-tRNA Synthetase / VARS is an aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase. It catalyzes the aminoacylation of tRNA by their cognate amino acid. Because of their central role in linking amino acids with nucleotide triplets contained in tRNAs, aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are thought to be among the first proteins that appeared in evolutio [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 7407)].
Alternate Names
G7A; NDMSCA; protein G7a; valine tRNA ligase 1, cytoplasmic; valine--tRNA ligase; valRS; Valyl-tRNA synthetase; valyl-tRNA synthetase 2; VARS1; VARS2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
