Goats were immunized with AU5 (TDFYLK) conjugated to KLH. Antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using the peptide immobilized on solid support.

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

The AU5 tag is an epitope tag with a 6-residue sequence of TDFYLK. Derived from bovine papillomavirus-1 (BPV-1), AU5 tags can help with detection of proteins in western blot, IP, or microscopic techniques.

Applications

Not all listed applications have been specifically tested by our laboratory. All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
