Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MSH6 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A300-022A maps to a region between residues 350 and 400 of human MutS homolog 6 using the numbering given in entry NP_000170.1 (GeneID 2956).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MSH6 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A300-022A-T maps to a region between residues 350 and 400 of human MutS homolog 6 using the numbering given in entry NP_000170.1 (GeneID 2956).

Additional Product Information

MSH6 is a component of the DNA mismatch repair (MMR) system that functions to recognize base-base mismatches and framshift mispairs. MSH6 forms a heterodimer with MSH2 and is also part of the BRCA1-associated genome surveillance complex (BASC). Mutations in MSH6 have been linked to endometrial carcinoma.

Alternate Names

DNA mismatch repair protein Msh6; G/T mismatch-binding protein; GTBP; GTMBP; hMSH6; HNPCC5; HSAP; mutS protein homolog 6; mutS-alpha 160 kDa subunit; p160; sperm-associated protein

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots are performed using Donkey anti-Goat IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A50-101P).
