Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to SA1 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A300-157A maps to a region between residues 1150 and 1200 of human Stromal Antigen 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005853.2 (GeneID 10274).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

SA1 is a component of the multisubunit cohesin complex. Cohesin functions to hold sister chromatids together during meiosis and mitosis and ensure proper segregation of chromosomes. SA1 has also been identified as a mediator of p53 induced apoptosis.

STAG1
stromal antigen 1
Q8WVM7
Cohesin subunit SA-1

Alternate Names

cohesin subunit SA-1; MRD47; nuclear protein stromal antigen 1; SA1; SCC3 homolog 1; SCC3A; Stromal antigen 1

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots are performed using Donkey anti-Goat IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A50-101P).
