The intracellular fatty acid-binding proteins (FABPs) belong to a multigene family divided into at least three distinct types, namely the hepatic-, intestinal- and cardiac-type. They are thought to participate in the uptake, intracellular metabolism and transport of long-chain fatty acids and their acyl-CoA esters. Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
