Rabbit anti-ABCF2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-004A maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human ATP-binding cassette, sub-family F (GCN20), member 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_009120.1 (GeneID 10061).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ABCF2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-004A-T maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human ATP-binding cassette, sub-family F (GCN20), member 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_009120.1 (GeneID 10061).
Additional Product Information
ATP-binding cassette sub-family F member 2 (ABCF2) belongs to the adenosine-triphosphate-binding cassette (ABC) family of transporters. ABC transporters are categorized into seven subfamilies: ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and white. ABCF2 is a member of the GCN20 subfamily. Unlike other ABC family members, ABCF2 is not a membrane-spanning protein and therefore may not be involved in transport. ABCF2 has been suggested to be a candidate marker for clear cell adenocarcinoma of the ovary and uterine corpus.
Alternate Names
ABC28; ABC-type transport protein; ATP-binding cassette sub-family F member 2; ATP-binding cassette, sub-family F (GCN20), member 2; EST133090; HUSSY18; HUSSY-18; iron-inhibited ABC transporter 2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
