Rabbit anti-ABT1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A304-044A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Activator of Basal Transcription 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_037507.1 (GeneID 29777).
The epitopes for anti-ABT1 antibodies A304-044A and A304-045A are in close proximity, but do not overlap.
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ABT1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A304-044A-T maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human Activator of Basal Transcription 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_037507.1 (GeneID 29777). The epitopes for anti-ABT1 antibodies A304-044A-T and A304-045A are in close proximity, but do not overlap.
Additional Product Information
Studies in mouse suggest that activator of basal transcription 1 (ABT1) likely activates basal transcription from class II promoters by interaction with TBP and the class II promoter DNA [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 55787)].
Alternate Names
activator of basal transcription 1; basal transcriptional activator; Esf2; hABT1; TATA-binding protein-binding protein
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
