Rabbit anti-ArfGAP1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-029A maps to a region between residue 356 and 406 of human ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase activating protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_060679.1 (GeneID 55738).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ArfGAP1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-029A-T maps to a region between residue 356 and 406 of human ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase activating protein 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_060679.1 (GeneID 55738).
Additional Product Information
ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase activating protein 1 (ArfGAP1) is a GTPase activating protein that interacts with the GTPase ADP-ribosylation factor (Arf) in Golgi membranes and vesicles. ArfGAP1 promotes the hydrolysis of ARF1-bound GTP to promote fusion of golgi-derived vesicles with the target compartment. Although they are differentially regulated, ArfGAP1, ArfGAP2, and ArfGAP3 have been shown to play overlapping roles in COPI-mediated transport and in the maintenance of Golgi organization.
Alternate Names
ADP-ribosylation factor 1 GTPase-activating protein; ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase-activating protein 1; ARF GAP 1; ARF1 GAP; ARF1-directed GTPase-activating protein; ARF1GAP; HRIHFB2281
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
