Rabbit anti-BCoR Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-673A-T maps to a region between residue 1705 and 1755 of human BCL6 co-repressor using the numbering given in entry EAW59426.1 (GeneID 54880). Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BCoR immobilized on solid support.

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
The BCL6 co-repressor (BCOR) was identified in a two-hybrid screen for factors that interact with the POZ domain of BCL6, a transcriptional repressor important to the immune response and B-cell development. BCOR also interacts with class I and II histone deacetylases and has recently been identified in a complexes with polycomb group proteins, RING1, RYBP, SNSC1, and RNF2, and the ubiquitin E3 ligase SKP1, and JHDM1B. Defects in BCOR are associated with oculo-facio-cardio-dental (OFCD) syndrome, a rare X-linked dominant disease that is fatal in males.
Alternate Names
ANOP2; BCL-6 corepressor; BCL-6 interacting corepressor; BCoR; MAA2; MCOPS2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
