Rabbit anti-BRD7 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00664 maps to a region between residue 601 and 651 of human bromodomain containing 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_037395.2 (GeneID 29117).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BRD7 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00664-T maps to a region between residue 601 and 651 of human bromodomain containing 7 using the numbering given in entry NP_037395.2 (GeneID 29117).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Bromodomain-containing protein 7 was identified in a two-hybrid screen as an interactor of interferon regulatory factor-2 (IRF-2) and called CELTIX1. BRD7 was also identified as a binding partner of disheveled-1 (Dvl-1) and found to play a role in Wnt signaling and the regulation of glycogen synthase kinase 3-beta activity. Recently, BRD7 was identified as a subunit of the polybromo-associated BRG1-associated factor (PBAF) complex and shown to be required for the modulation of transcription in embryonic stem cells.
Alternate Names
75 kDa bromodomain protein; BP75; bromodomain-containing protein 7; CELTIX1; NAG4; protein CELTIX-1
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
