Rabbit anti-BRIP1/BACH1 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-560A-T maps to a region between residues 1100 and 1150 of human Brca1 Interacting Protein C-terminal Helicase 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_114432.1 (GeneID 83990).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to BRIP1/BACH1 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
BRCA1-interacting protein 1 (BRIP1) is a RecQ DNA helicase that associates with BRCA1 and functions in double-strand break repair and the maintenance of chromosomal stability. BRIP1 has been found to be deficient in Fanconi anemia (FA), a chromosomal instability syndrome associated with a strong predisposition to cancer.
Alternate Names
ATP-dependent RNA helicase BRIP1; BACH1; BRCA1/BRCA2-associated helicase 1; BRCA1-associated C-terminal helicase 1; BRCA1-binding helicase-like protein BACH1; BRCA1-interacting protein 1; BRCA1-interacting protein C-terminal helicase 1; FANCJ; Fanconi anemia group J protein; OF; Protein FACJ
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
