Rabbit anti-C1QBP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-863A maps to a region between residue 232 and 282 of human Complement component 1, q Subcomponent Binding Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_001203.1 (GeneID 708).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to C1QBP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A302-863A-T maps to a region between residue 232 and 282 of human Complement component 1, q Subcomponent Binding Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_001203.1 (GeneID 708).
Additional Product Information
C1qBP (complement component 1q subcomponent-binding protein) is known to bind to the globular heads of the human complement component, C1q, and inhibit C1 activation. This protein has also been identified as the p32 subunit of pre-mRNA splicing factor SF2, as well as a hyaluronic acid-binding protein (HABP1) [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10084)].

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
