Rabbit anti-Calreticulin Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-130A maps to a region between residue 367 and 417 of human calreticulin (Sicca syndrome antigen A ) using the numbering given in entry NP_004334.1 (GeneID 811).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Calreticulin immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-130A-T maps to a region between residue 367 and 417 of human calreticulin (Sicca syndrome antigen A ) using the numbering given in entry NP_004334.1 (GeneID 811).
Additional Product Information
Calreticulin is identified as a multifunctional protein that acts as a lectin chaperone and calcium binding protein. Calreticulin is found in the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum and nucleus. In the nucleus, Calreticulin appears to function as a coregulator of nuclear hormone receptors. Increased autoantibody titers against calreticulin are associated with systemic lupus.
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
