Recombinant antibody was purified from cell culture supernatant.
Immunogen was a peptide representing a region between residue 750 and 800 of mouse B-cell receptor CD22 using the numbering given in entry NP_001036782.1 (Gene ID 12483).
CD22 mediates B-cell B-cell interactions and is involved in the localization of B-cells in lymphoid tissues. CD22 binds sialylated glycoproteins including CD45. It is involved in B cell activation; negative regulation of the B cell receptor signaling pathway; and regulation of endocytosis.
