Rabbit anti-CEP290 IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00365 maps to a region between residue 2429 and 2479 of human centrosomal protein 290kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_079390.3 (GeneID 80184).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CEP290 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00365-T maps to a region between residue 2429 and 2479 of human centrosomal protein 290kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_079390.3 (GeneID 80184).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Centrosomal protein 290 (CEP290) is a member of the nephrocystins, a family of proteins involved in renal cystic diseases. CEP290 and the nephrocystins appear to play a role in cilia and basal body function. Loss-of-function mutations in CEP290 result in Joubert syndrome and related disorders characterized by brain malformations, developmental delay, ataxia, irregular breathing, renal disease, and hepatic fibrosis.
