Rabbit anti-CEP97 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A301-946A maps to a region between residue 675 and 725 of human centrosomal protein 97kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_078824.2 (GeneID 79598).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CEP97 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A301-946A-T maps to a region between residue 675 and 725 of human centrosomal protein 97kDa using the numbering given in entry NP_078824.2 (GeneID 79598).
Additional Product Information
CEP97 (centrosomal protein of 97 kDa) has been identified as part of a complex with CP110. Together, CP110 and CEP97 have been shown to play a role in the assembly of cilia. Loss of CEP97 or CEP110 promotes cilia formation while forced expression inhibits ciliogenesis.
Alternate Names
2810403B08Rik; centrosomal protein of 97 kDa; Cep97; leucine-rich repeat and IQ domain-containing protein 2; leucine-rich repeats and IQ motif containing 2; LRRIQ2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
