Rabbit anti-CLIP115 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-346A-T maps to a region between residue 550 and 600 of human Cytoplasmic Linker Protein 115 using the numbering given in entry NP_003379.3 (GeneID 7461).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CLIP115 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
CLIP-115 (cytoplasmic linker protein 115) was found to associate with both microtubules and an organelle called the dendritic lamellar body. The CLIP-115 protein is encoded by the CLIP2 gene which is hemizygously deleted in Williams syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by the deletion of contiguous genes at 7q11.23 [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 7461)].
Alternate Names

Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
