Rabbit anti-CSN7b Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-044A maps to a region between residue 225 and the C-terminus (residue 264) of human constitutive photomorphogenic homolog subunit 7B using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q9H9Q2 (GeneID 64708).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CSN7b immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-044A-T maps to a region between residue 225 and the C-terminus (residue 264) of human constitutive photomorphogenic homolog subunit 7B using the numbering given in TrEMBL entry Q9H9Q2 (GeneID 64708).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
CSN7b is one of eight subunits (CSN1 to 8) of the highly conserved COP9 signalsome (CSN) complex originally identified as a regulator of light-mediated development in Arabidopsis. Characterization of CSN from yeast to mammals reveals its function as a modulator of signal transduction pathways involved in a variety of cellular and developmental processes. One of the major functions of the CSN is the regulation of protein degradation via intersection with the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway and regulation of E3-ubiquitin ligases. The CSN also possesses kinase activity.
Alternate Names
COP9 constitutive photomorphogenic homolog subunit 7B; COP9 signalosome complex subunit 7b; CSN7B; JAB1-containing signalosome subunit 7b; SGN7b; signalosome subunit 7b
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
