Rabbit anti-Cyclin C IHC Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by IHC-00592 maps to a region between residue 244 and 294 of human cyclin C using the numbering given in entry NP_005181.2 (GeneID 892).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Cyclin C immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00592-T maps to a region between residue 244 and 294 of human cyclin C using the numbering given in entry NP_005181.2 (GeneID 892).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.
Additional Product Information
Cyclin C is a member of the cyclin family of regulatory proteins that associate with and activate cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) to regulate cell cycle progression. Cyclins exhibit periodicity in their expression and activity which is regulated transcriptionally and post-transcriptionally via phosphorylation and ubiquitination. Cyclin C associates with cyclin-dependent kinase 8 (CDK8). It is also a component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator complex that provides a scaffold to link gene-specific transcription factors to RNA polymerase II and the general transcription machinery.
Alternate Names
CycC; cyclin-C; hSRB11; SRB11; SRB11 homolog
Applications
Epitope exposure is recommended.
Epitope exposure with citrate buffer or tris-EDTA pH9.0 buffer will enhance staining.
Likely to work with frozen sections.
In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
