Rabbit anti-Cytochrome C Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A305-281A maps to a region between residue 55 to 105 of human Cytochrome C using the numbering given in entry P99999.2 (GeneID 54205).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to CYCS immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A305-281A-T maps to a region between residue 55 to 105 of human Cytochrome C using the numbering given in entry P99999.2 (GeneID 54205).
Additional Product Information
Cytochrome C (CYCS) is a small heme protein that functions as a central component of the electron transport chain in mitochondria. Cytochrome C (CYCS) associates with the inner membrane of the mitochondrion where it accepts electrons from cytochrome b and transfers them to the cytochrome oxidase complex. This protein is also involved in initiation of apoptosis [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 54205)].
Alternate Names
CYC; cytochrome c; HCS; THC4
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
