Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-077A maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Diaphanous Homolog 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005210.1 (GeneID 1729).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Diaphanous 1 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-077A-T maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Diaphanous Homolog 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_005210.1 (GeneID 1729).
Additional Product Information
Diaphanous 1 is a member of the formin family of proteins that is responsible for actin polymerization and nucleation activity and the formation of linear, unbranched actin cables and stress fibers. Diaphanous 1 is a target of the small GTPase, Rho, and couples Rho and Src tyrosine kinase during signaling and the regulation of actin dynamics. Diaphanous 1 has been linked to heritable nonsyndromic progressive hearing loss.
Alternate Names
DFNA1; DIA1; Diaphanous-related formin-1; DRF1; hDIA1; LFHL1; protein diaphanous homolog 1; SCBMS
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
