Rabbit anti-Diaphanous 2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-079A maps to a region between residues 50 and 100 of human Diaphanous Homolog 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_006720.1 (GeneID 1730).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to Diaphanous 2 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-079A-T maps to a region between residues 50 and 100 of human Diaphanous Homolog 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_006720.1 (GeneID 1730).
Additional Product Information
Diaphanous 2 is a member of the formin family of proteins that is responsible for actin polymerization and nucleation activity and the formation of linear, unbranched actin cables and stress fibers. Diaphanous 1 is a target of the small GTPase, Rho. RhoB and diaphanous 2 have been shown to interact on endosomes and control actin dynamics involved in vesicle trafficking.
Alternate Names
DIA; DIA2; diaphanous homolog 2; Diaphanous-related formin-2; diaphorase-2; DRF2; POF; POF2; POF2A; protein diaphanous homolog 2
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
