Rabbit anti-DOCK9 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A300-530A maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Dedicator of Cytokinesis 9 using the numbering given in entry NP_056111.1 (GeneID 23348).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DOCK9 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A300-530A-T maps to a region between residues 1 and 50 of human Dedicator of Cytokinesis 9 using the numbering given in entry NP_056111.1 (GeneID 23348).
Additional Product Information
Dedicator of cytokinesis protein 2 (DOCK2) is Involved in cytoskeletal rearrangements required for lymphocyte migration in response of chemokines. DOCK2 activates RAC1 and RAC2, but not CDC42, by functioning as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF), which exchanges bound GDP for free GTP. DOCK2 may also participate in IL2 transcriptional activation via the activation of RAC2 [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q92608].
Alternate Names
cdc42 guanine nucleotide exchange factor zizimin-1; dedicator of cytokinesis protein 9; ZIZ1; ZIZIMIN1; zizimin-1
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
