Production Procedures
Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DPF2 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by A303-595A maps to a region between residue 125 and 175 of human D4, Zinc and Double PHD Fingers Family 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_006259.1 (GeneID 5977).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

USA

Additional Product Information

DPF2 (zinc and double PHD fingers family 2) is a member of the d4 domain family, characterized by a zinc finger-like structural motif. This protein functions as a transcription factor which is necessary for the apoptotic response following deprivation of survival factors. It likely serves a regulatory role in rapid hematopoietic cell growth and turnover. This gene is considered a candidate gene for multiple endocrine neoplasia type I, an inherited cancer syndrome involving multiple parathyroid, enteropancreatic, and pituitary tumors [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 5977)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
