Rabbit anti-DRP Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A303-010A maps to a region between residue 148 and 198 of human Density-Regulated Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_003668.2 (GeneID 8562).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DRP immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by A303-010A-T maps to a region between residue 148 and 198 of human Density-Regulated Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_003668.2 (GeneID 8562).
Additional Product Information
Density regulated protein (DRP) may be involved in the translation of target mRNAs by scanning and recognition of the initiation codon. DRP plays a role in the modulation of the translational profile of a subset of cancer-related mRNAs when recruited to the translational initiation complex by the oncogene MCTS1 [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ O43583].
Alternate Names
density-regulated protein; DRP; DRP1; Protein DRP1; SMAP-3; smooth muscle cell associated protein-3; Smooth muscle cell-associated protein 3
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
