Rabbit anti-EAF2 Antibody Affinity Purified
Product Details
Specifications
The epitope recognized by A302-503A-T maps to a region between residue 210 and 260 of human ELL associated factor 2 using the numbering given in entry NP_060926.2 (GeneID 55840).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4. Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to EAF2 immobilized on solid support.

Additional Product Information
ELL-associated factor 2 (EAF2) acts as a transcriptional transactivator of TCEA1 elongation activity. It is also a transcriptional transactivator of ELL (eleven nineteen lysine-rich leukemia) 1 and ELL2 elongation activities. EAF2 has been shown to be a potent inducer of apoptosis in prostatic and non-prostatic cell lines and to inhibit prostate tumor growth in vivo [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q96CJ1].
Alternate Names
BM040; ELL-associated factor 2; testosterone-regulated apoptosis inducer and tumor suppressor protein; TRAITS; U19
Applications
All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
